Redbud, Rose of Sharon and a Tulip Tree were planted on the east side  of our property. In particular, the Rose of Sharon will invite more Hummingbirds, which we enjoy.

Good News! Mrs. Robin has returned to her nest. Now there are four eggs.

It is amazing how fast perennials pop up! Check out the Bluebells and the Bleeding Hearts!

I found this robin’s nest in the shed. MaMa robin put it in a bad place. Her nest was down too low. Now she is gone!!

I have been waiting for this day since last summer. Fresh asparagus to graze! Yum yum!!!

I have flower boxes on the back porch. The flowers will go in later. Meanwhile, rather than letting the boxes go empty, I planted arugula and kale (The seedlings are three weeks old). The cool weather is a plus for greens and the plants are attractive.
