Clematis

“The first year they sleep, the second year they creep and the third year they leap.” What am I?

My blooms are six (6) inches in diameter. I appear in many colors. I have a mild, sweet fragrance. My vines will climb almost any structure. The colors of my flowers vary from lavender, periwinkle, purple and blue. Of course that depends on the time of day. My name is Clematis jackmanii.
